Process consulting

  • Guiding local business entities in resolving issues around long outstanding receivables, and the development and implementation of new internal processes on the treatment of past dues globally.
  • Assisting in the development of a new factoring tool, specifically aimed at servicing internal clients globally, in cooperation with the users and developers; acting as the link between users and IT, defining the user requirements and converting these into a functional design all with a focus on the fit with the financial and statutory legislation of various Western European countries.
  • Testing of multiple software applications in a factoring tool for local business entities.
  • Executing and controlling the intercompany cash transfers with respect to working capital (funding) of the business units globally, including the care of suitable contractual support for these transfers; in combination with project management on process optimization for the internal procedures for the North American portfolio.
  • Creating a document repository (data warehouse) for storing the documentation related to tax requirements globally; integration of the existing ERP system with the document repository.
  • Monitoring and safeguarding the procedures around the handling of the Purchase-to-Pay process of the shared service center in India (back office) and Poland (front office).
  • Monitoring and resolving post audit issues and actively participating in sub-projects flowing from these.
  • Creating the detailed costs structure in SAP CO for a business unit which is destined to be unraveled.
  • Mapping the existing processes within the finance division and drafting the future situation, including a detailed approach on how to implement these improvements.
  • Project support on a change process in which the company changed from a task driven organization into process driven one to prepare for a new ERP application; in addition, recording the contractual agreements with customers.
  • Deriving the necessary data required for the successful development of a balanced score card for the sales department, including the creation of a user manual.
  • Leading and participating in a project on process optimization, transition and regulatory readiness trajectories of an organization involved in cash operations.
  • Project management, process redesign and monitoring activities to support the implementation and management of an IT governance framework.
